Earth Day. On Thursday, April 22, Victoria County municipal staff will be cleaning the litter on Old Margaree Road, from the entrance to the Baddeck Transfer Station to the overpass. Transfer Station staff will start at there; Baddeck Courthouse staff will begin at the overpass. We hope to meet in the middle and have a clean stretch of roadway by noon. This Earth Day, why not spend some time in the ditches, sprucing up the planet.
