Public Hearing

Please take notice that the Council of the Municipality of the County of Victoria intends to consider, and if deemed advisable, adopt by way of second reading, a “Local Improvement Charge By-law” at the regular Council meeting.

The object of this by-law is to establish the manner in which the Municipality may impose, fix and enforce payment of charges for local improvements.

Copies of the proposed by-law may be inspected by interested persons at the Court House, 495 Chebucto Street, Baddeck, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding Statutory Holidays or by visiting the County website at www.victoriacounty.com/government/by-laws/  

This meeting will take place at the Ceilidh Hall, at the Keltic Lodge in Ingonish. The public are welcome and encouraged to attend.
