Seniors Safety - Resources and Programs

The high cost of food, fuel, heating, electricity, taxes, housing has been tough on so many residents in Victoria County, especially seniors on a fixed income.

Their dollars must stretch further than ever. There’s a number of resources and programs available. But sometimes the biggest challenge is asking for help and acknowledging you need help long-term or even temporary help to get you through the month. Many don’t see themselves as someone who should seek help.

If you, or a senior you know need support, please reach out to Victoria County’s Seniors Safety Coordinator – or connect with 211.
