MidSummer Music Series: Arrow Quartet

The Arrow Quartet is dedicated to creating a joyful and inclusive chamber music experience with an eye towards historically informed performance practice. As an ensemble specializing in the music of the past, the quartet aims to discover the historical intersections between classical chamber music and music that was performed outside the concert hall. Its members work to understand the ways that musical languages percolate across space and time, and how these languages can inform our view of the past, present, and future. The MidSummer Music Series Society is a registered non-profit within Nova Scotia formed in 2019. It seeks to promote and expand classical music appreciation in Cape Breton and to provide an alternate musical experience for residents and visitors to the area. Tickets may be purchased at the door or during the two weeks prior to the concert at the Flying Kite Artisan Shop in Baddeck. Doors open at 7:00pm; Performance at 7:30pm.
