MidSummer Music Series: Michèle Peladan

Michèle Peladan graduated from the conservatories of Aquila in Italy and Argenteuil in France, where she obtained her diplomas in mandolin, harmony, history of music, musical training, chamber music. She is also holder of the State Diploma of Early Music in mandolin. Her very keen taste for ensemble music led her to give many concerts in France and abroad with various formations: in chamber music, orchestra, soloist. She is a mandolin teacher in Marseille in the city of music and in other schools In addition to these multiple activities, Michèle composes a lot, especially for the mandolin and directs the plectre ensemble of the city of music of Marseille. The MidSummer Music Series Society is a registered non-profit within Nova Scotia formed in 2019. It seeks to promote and expand classical music appreciation in Cape Breton and to provide an alternate musical experience for residents and visitors to the area. Tickets may be purchased at the door or during the two weeks prior to the concert at the Flying Kite Artisan Shop in Baddeck. Doors open at 7:00pm ; Performance at 7:30pm.
