Boil Water Advisory – Neil’s Harbour – Nov 24, 2021

NOTE: The Boil Water Advisory was lifted as of 5:30PM December 16th, 2021. Water service has been restored for all residents of Neil’s Harbour and the Boil Water Advisory has been rescinded.

Please note that a Boil Water Advisory has been issued for residents of Neil’s Harbour

Municipal crews are working to resolve the issue. This boil water advisory does not impact residents whose water comes from wells.

Instructions for residents in Neil’s Harbour/New Haven:

Please take the following precautions:

  • Boil water used for drinking purposes, for at least 1 minute at a rolling boil, prior to use;
  • Boil water for activities where it may be ingested;
  • Do not drink from any public drinking fountains in the affected area;
  • People may use the water for washing and bathing;
  • Ensure that younger children and infants are sponge bathed.

Residents will be notified as soon as new information becomes available.
