NOTE: The Boil Water Advisory for customers in Neil’s Harbour was lifted as of 5:30PM December 16th, 2021. Water service has been restored for all residents of Neil’s Harbour and the Boil Water Advisory has been rescinded.

The Municipality of the County of Victoria is lifting the County-wide state of Emergency as of 12:00pm, November 24, 2021. Residents are being advised they may now move about for necessary travel only and discourage people from visiting damaged areas as this may cause dangerous situations and / or impact repair and emergency crews from doing their jobs.

With this notice, it is imperative that residents understand that there are still roads and bridges in some areas that are washed out and impassable. Ingonish, Neil’s Harbour / New Haven and secondary roads in Tarbot are still affected and we encourage all to follow signs or authorities on site at these locations.

Neil’s Harbour and New Haven area water supply is at a critically low level and is under a boil water advisory and residents are being asked to conserve water. Crews are currently working to identify and repair damage to this water system.

Municipal Facilities will remain closed for the day today and updates for Waste Collection for the rest of the week will be updated later today.
