Washroom Facility Operation – Expression of Interest (EOI)

New Opportunity for Not-for-Profit Community Group and/or Business

The Municipality of the County of Victoris is seeking a not-for-profit community group and/or businesses to oversee the operation of a washroom facility which houses washrooms, an accessible washroom, laundry/shower and an office unit.

Victoria County has identified washroom facilities as a priority for visitors and travellers. To help facilitate, the County will supply a transportable $60,000 washroom unit to the successful interested operator.

Responsibilities/Considerations:

• Daily cleaning during the tourst season and other days as determined by the group and the Municipality.
• Other responsibilities will be outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
• Access to a Septic Disposal Field capable of accommodating the washroom discharge or enough property for a new septic field
• Access to water through an existing well or proximity to connect to the municipal water supply
• Area to accommodate parking for 2-3 vehicles and a 40′ x 12′ washroom facility
