Did you know that our recycling facilities in Baddeck and New Haven both have opportunities for your Not for Profit group or organization to raise funds for your organization?
We choose 14 Victoria County not-for-profits for Our Charity of the Month. If your group is selected, we will contact you with the dates that the Jim Bradley Recycling Depot (Baddeck) or New Haven Recycling Depot will be collecting refundables on behalf of your group.
This selection is done once a year in January.

Introduction


Please fill out all information in the application below and submit it by by Tuesday, December 31st, 2024.

Please note, rather than picking up your donations from the depot at the end of the month, the Municipality will issue a cheque. Please ensure your mailing address is correct.

Application Criteria


Applications will be accepted from organizations that:

• Have submitted completed applications by the deadline.
• Have provided proof of non‐profit status.

Applications will NOT be accepted from:

• For-profit businesses.
• Organizations with political affiliations.
• Organizations where services/activities include the promotion and/or required adherence to a faith.
• Provincial/national organizations unless a local chapter exists to service the residents of Victoria County.
