Government

The Municipality of the County of Victoria (Victoria County) is divided into eight districts, each represented by an elected Councillor. Our municipal administration building and council chambers are located at 495 Chebucto Street, Baddeck, Nova Scotia.

Victoria County spans from Iona in the south to Bay St. Lawrence and Capstick in the north and also includes Wagmatcook First Nation and the Village of Baddeck and is home to approximately 6,750 residents.

The Municipal Administration Building, located in Baddeck, Nova Scotia was established in 1889. It was formerly the Victoria County Court House.
