Municipality of Victoria County Council Approves 2024-2025 Budgets

Tax rate decrease for the upcoming fiscal year: April 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025.

Victoria County Council approved an overall municipal Operating Budget of $14,259,244 and the Five-Year Capital Budget of $25,515,302 for 2024-2025.

The tax rate has been set at $1.15 per $100 of assessed value for residential and resource properties, and $2.09 per $100 of assessed value for commercial properties, marking a decrease from the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
