Join Our Team as Manager of Communications!

The Municipality of the County of Victoria is looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager of Communications to join our team in Baddeck, Nova Scotia. In this full-time, permanent role, you will lead strategic communications efforts and oversee a variety of public education, engagement, and outreach initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the communication strategies that connect our community, manage media relations, and coordinate marketing efforts.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time; Permanent; Non-unionized
• Salary: $71,937.20 to $94,153.10
• Comprehensive Benefits including health, dental, and pension plan
• 35 hours/week; Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Key Qualifications:

• Degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or related field
• 5-7 years of senior communications experience
• 3+ years in a supervisory role
• Valid Nova Scotia Class 5 Driver’s License
