To celebrate Earth Day, twelve Victoria County staff members from the Transfer Station & the Courthouse collected trash along the 1.3 kilometer stretch of Old Margaree Road – from near the Baddeck Transfer Station entrance to the overpass. Over 280 kilograms of trash in 49 bags was collected. Along with the ‘regular’ ditch trash, staff encountered a fire extinguisher, two tires on rims and a big pile of Styrofoam. Well done!
