Update – Winter Sidewalk Plowing and Salting in the Village of Baddeck

Update from Council

On December 12th, 2024, Victoria County Council held a productive Special Council Meeting with the Village of Baddeck to discuss this season’s plowing and salting of sidewalks within the Village. We appreciate that the Village will continue to provide this important service over the winter months, and we thank the Commission for its ongoing work and commitment. Our Council looks forward to further discussions in the coming months as we work collaboratively to address the County’s role in this matter.
