In the spring of 2022, Cape Breton University will be launching and funding a new program to offer student research placements to communities and organizations across all of Cape Breton. Under this program, students will be paid by CBU to provide research assistance to community organizations and small businesses on the island.

On the December 8th, 2021 at the Bras d’Or Yacht Club in Baddeck, CBU will be hosting an information session and informal, consultative focus group with snacks and refreshments. We would like to invite representatives from community groups to attend this session to learn more about the Student Community Research Connections program and seek your input and advice related to community outreach and communication from CBU.
