Community Garden closed for maintenance

On March 28 at Victoria County Council, it was announced that the Community Garden in Baddeck will be closed this season for maintenance. Structural repairs to garden beds and upgrades to the waterlines are needed. The maintenance will ensure the community gardens can be safely enjoyed for many more years to come. The work is anticipated to begin late April and is expected to be completed later this year.

Maintenance signs will be posted at the Community Garden site. Please comply with all safety barriers and signs.

A reopening date is not known but will be posted on our website and Facebook page. If the work is completed before the end of growing season, we will open registration this year. If not, registration will open spring 2023.
