Municipal Departments

Victoria County’s municipal departments are led by the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), who is responsible for directing and coordinating the overall management of the municipality’s operations in accordance with by-laws, policies and plans approved by Council. 

The CAO serves as the link between Council and municipal staff, overseeing the day-to-day operations such as: 

• preparing reports 

• developing policies 

• formulating budgets 

• presenting recommendations to Council
