Share the Story! Book Swap in Nyanza

October 23 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Free
Poster for a Victoria County Book Swap titled “Share the Story.” Features a stack of vintage books with an open book on top, encouraging residents to donate used books and pick up a new story. Event dates: Nyanza, October 23,

As part of Waste Reduction Week 2026, we’re teaming up with two local businesses to host TWO community book swaps! We’ll be setting up at Salty Rose’s And The Periwinkle Cafe and the Herring Choker Deli for an afternoon of books, browsing, and sharing.

The idea is simple: bring a book, take a book, and keep the stories moving!

And if you don’t have a book to swap, no worries! You’re still welcome to come browse and see if a new-to-you story catches your eye.
