Blue Bayou Resort

We have 22 geodesic domes, 2 cottages, 3 Bayou Shacks, the Boogie Shack and 1 tiny home to kickstart our new tiny home village at your disposition. You can now start your process of making memories in the heart of Cape Breton Highlands! 

Canoes, kayaks, SUP boards and new this year, an 8 person motorized leisure boat can be rented and enjoyed on the harbour along our property. Come experience an iconic campfire with smiles all around while luxury glamping in style at the Blue Bayou Resort in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. 

Just head north on the Cabot Trail to Blue Bayou – your place to stay. 

Cancelation policy 

We accept cancelation up to 8 days before your stay for a refund of your deposit minus cancelation fees. If you cancel 7 days before your stay, you lose your deposit and within the last 72 hours, you would lose the total amount.

To guarantee your glamping site, a deposit equal to 50% of your stay will be charged to your credit card at the time you make your reservation. Make your online reservations anytime, day or night. You’ll receive a confirmation email from the campground once you complete your reservation.

Need to cancel? If you need to cancel your reservation, please call 647-995-1633 before your 8th-day deadline to receive your deposit refund, minus a $50 + HST cancellation admin fee. Allow 24 hours to receive your money back. Text and/or email notifications of cancellations are not acceptable especially if it’s within the last days that you have available to get your refund. We have in the past accepted email cancellations because the ones we accepted were months before the chosen date. We stress that you call us because it prevents you from emailing the wrong person at the last minute and making a mistake that would be costly to you. The phone call will avoid those errors.

Reservations made less than 8 days before your stay require 50% non-refundable deposits. Reservations made less than 72 hours before your stay will require to be paid in full.
