Low Income Tax Relief Program 2025/26

If so, you may qualify for a reduction in your property taxes. Eligible applicants can receive a credit of up to $300 applied directly to their municipal tax account. If your annual taxes are less than $300, the credit will match the amount you owe.

*Eligibility is based on the combined total from line 260 of the 2024 CRA Notice of Assessment for each household member.

1. Gather Documents
   • 2024 CRA Notice of Assessment for each household member
   • Your Municipal Tax Account Number (found on your tax bill)
2. Get the Form
   • Download the Municipal Tax Exemption Application Form – Fiscal 2025/26
   • Or pick one up at the Municipal Building (address below)
3. Submit Your Completed Application
