New Horizons Seniors Program

The Government of Canada has launched the 2026–27 New Horizons for Seniors Program call for proposals. Funding of up to $50,000 per project is available for community-based initiatives that support seniors and help build stronger, more connected communities.

Projects may include activities such as:

• Social inclusion and participation for seniors
• Intergenerational programs and mentoring
• Volunteer engagement
• Elder abuse awareness and prevention
• Capital projects that benefit seniors
