The Tourism and Recreation Department of the Municipality of the County of Victoria, in partnership with the Cape Breton Partnership, has launched a new pilot program to support entrepreneurs and community organizations in the tourism sector.
The Victoria County Sustainable Tourism Growth Initiative is designed to help strengthen and expand sustainable tourism offerings across Victoria County, Unama’ki – Cape Breton. The program provides one-time funding support for projects that enhance tourism experiences, encourage longer visitor stays, and contribute to the year-round economic vibrancy of our communities.

All applications must be received by 4:00 p.m. on June 13, 2025.
This is a competitive pilot program with limited funds. We encourage all interested applicants to review the full program details and submit their applications early.
