The public is invited to attend the Swearing-In Ceremony being held in Council Chambers (495 Chebucto Street, Baddeck, NS) on Wednesday, October 30th at 5:00 p.m. The official election results will be announced and newly elected Councillors will make their Oath of Allegiance and of Office as part of the Ceremony.

As two candidates in District 8 have received an equal number of votes, an application for a Recount to the Nova Scotia provincial court has been made, in accordance with the Provincial legislation. The successful councillor for that district will be sworn-in following the conclusion of that process.
