Improve your home’s energy efficiency with Clean Energy Financing and Victoria County

Homeowners in Victoria County wanting to improve their home’s energy efficiency and reduce their power bills can apply to the municipality’s Clean Energy Financing (CEF) program provided through Clean Foundation. Upgrades eligible for financing could include installing heat pumps, improving your home’s insulation and much more.

Clean Energy Financing might be right for you if:

  • You’re an owner of a detached, semi-detached or a row house (multi-unit buildings are not eligible for the program).
  • You are worried about the cost of heating your home.
  • You are not sure which energy upgrades might right for you.
  • You would prefer to finance any upgrades you make.
  • You need help applying for rebates.

Through CEF in Victoria County, you can finance up to $20,000 in home energy upgrades at an interest rate of four per cent. The financing term is 10 years but there’s no penalty for paying off the financing early, and the program makes sure you get access to all the rebates you are eligible for.
