Public Hearing and Second Reading: Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-Law Documents

Victoria County Council will be holding a Public Hearing on the proposed Municipal Planning Strategy and Land-Use By-Law documents on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building in Baddeck (495 Chebucto Street). The public is invited to make written or oral statements during the Public Hearing.

Second Reading will take place at the regular Council Session, to be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 24th in Council Chambers. The council session will be livestreamed.

NOTICE OF SECOND (FINAL) READINGS OF MUNICIPAL PLANNING STRATEGY AND LAND USE BY-LAW FOR THE MUNICIPALITY OF THE COUNTY OF VICTORIA

Please take notice that the Council of the Municipality of the County of Victoria intends to consider, and if deemed advisable, adopt by way of second reading, “The Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-Law” at the regular Council meeting to be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025.

The object of these documents is to comply with the Province of Nova Scotia’s Minimum Planning Requirements Regulations for the Municipality of the County of Victoria.

Copies of the proposed documents may be inspected by interested persons at the Municipal Building, 495 Chebucto Street, Baddeck, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding Statutory Holidays or by visiting the County website at www.victoriacounty.com/government/by-laws/ or by clicking the links below.
