Request for Proposals: Engineer and Design

The Municipality of the County of Victoria is seeking technical and cost proposals from qualified consulting firms for two projects:

  1. WATERLINE RELOCATION ENGINEERING SERVICES – VIC-RFP-04-01-26
    • The Municipality of the County of Victoria is seeking technical and cost proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide engineering services for the relocation of municipal waterlines currently attached to three bridge structures currently owned by the Nova Scotia Department of Public Works (NSDPW).
    • Tenders are to be returned to the Engineering Technologist, Ryan Taylor, via email at: ryan.taylor@victoriacounty.ca. The subject line must read, “VIC-RFP-04-02-26”.
    • Proposals are to be received no later than 2:00 P.M. AST on Thursday April 30, 2026.
  1. NEW HAVEN WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITY & WATERLINE EXTENSION PRELIMINARY DESIGN – VIC-RFP-04-02-26
    • The Municipality of the County of Victoria is seeking technical and cost proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide professional engineering services for the preliminary design and preparation of a Class C cost estimate for a new Waste Management Facility located at PID: 85176899 in New Haven, Nova Scotia. Additionally, the project will include an extension of the municipal waterline, approximately 1.7 km in length, to service the new facility and the surrounding area. The length of the waterline is approximate and subject to refinement by the consultant.
    • Tenders are to be returned to the Engineering Technologist, Ryan Taylor, via email at: ryan.taylor@victoriacounty.ca. The subject line must read, “VIC-RFP-04-02-26”.
    • Proposals are to be received no later than 2:00 P.M. AST on Thursday April 30, 2026.
