Thanks to funding from the New Horizons for Seniors Program, the Senior Safety Program is excited to collaborate with Simply Social in Ingonish to host our first workshop to support wellness among seniors in the community. Activities will include art therapy, laughter yoga, sleep yoga, and sleep hygiene.

Seniors Safety Program Presents: Use Laughter to Manage Chronic Pain

When: April 28th, 1:30PM-4:00PM at the Parish Hall in Ingonish. 

Who can attend? 

These workshops are for seniors aged 55 and older who want to learn how to use lighthearted joy to promote wellness and address and manage pain. 

What to Expect

  • All activities will be gentle and easy.
  • Participants do not need to have prior knowledge of any of the activities.
  • Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a blanket and pillow. 
  • Light lunch will be provided. 

Come join us for a day of laughter, connection, and wellness!
